Dear Taft Families,

This is Principal Garcia-Rubio calling with a Monday update.

I hope everybody had a good first day!  We know that there was some difficulty logging into Zoom today and we know that tomorrow will be better.  We are trying to minimize schedule changes, but we will be adjusting classes as the week goes by.

To answer any questions or to offer any assistance, we will be on live on Zoom, tomorrow morning, Tuesday, September 1, 2020, from 8 am - 10 a.m. and from 4 pm to 6:00 p.m.  Registration is required in order to attend these sessions.

Schedule for Tomorrow

Tomorrow, Tuesday, September 1, students will check in with their Period 2 teacher for one hour by registering for that teacher's Google Classroom.  Students should check in before 9:45. This session will end at 10:45.  The Google Classroom codes are attached.  The website is classroom.google.com.  Please look for the Plus Sign (+) on the upper right-hand corner and then select join a class.  You will then be asked for the Google Code.  Next, please go back to the upper right-hand corner and select join.

If you need password assistance or help with a device, please call our IT department at 619-732-1400.

Thank you in advance for supporting our scholars by providing a dedicated study space and for asking them to share their activities from their online journal.

Lunch

Food services is offering Grab and Go meals from 12-2 pm by the Ruffin Canyon entrance.  Students should bring their ids, if possible.
