Welcome to the San Diego Unified School District Employee Benefits Program!

We know your benefits are important to you and your entire family and are proud to offer a generous and comprehensive benefits package to eligible employees and their eligible dependents. To take advantage of all the programs the District offers, please review the information below to help you make the right benefit decisions for you and your family. The benefit choices you make now will be in effect through the end of the calendar year and cannot change unless you experience a qualified life event, such as a birth, marriage or loss of other coverage. You must enroll within 31 days of your hire date or the date you become benefits-eligible.

How to Enroll?

Step 1: Review the Employee Benefits Information Guide above and the information linked below to learn more about all of the options available to benefits-eligible employees:

Step 2: Complete the Benefits Enrollment/Change form to enroll in medical, dental and vision coverage. Collect the documents listed on the Dependent Eligibility Verification Requirements if adding family members to your coverage. The Flexible Spending Account (FSA) form is optional and needed only if you are interested in establishing an account for the current plan year.

Step 3: Submit all documents to the Employee Benefits Department within 31 days of becoming eligible for coverage using any of the methods below:
