Core Subject Area Requirements
(29 Credits)

  1. 6 credits (3 years) History/Social Science

  2. 8 credits (4 years) English

  3. 6 credits (3 years) Mathematics

  4. 6 credits (3 years) Science: one year of life science in a UC-approved laboratory science course in the 'd' subject area; one year of physical science in a UC-approved laboratory science course in the 'd' subject area; and one additional year science in a UC-approved course work in the 'd' or 'g' subject area.

  5. 2 credits (1 year) Language Other Than English (World Language) and 1 credit (1 semester) practical or visual and performing arts

    OR

  6. 2 credits (2 semesters) visual and performing arts and 1 credit (1 semester) practical arts (3 credits total e. and f. combined)

Additional Requirements (15 Credits)

  • 4 credits (2 years) Physical Education and pass the Fitnessgram

  • 11 credits (5.5 years) Electives
