Educators will
-use multiple means to assess mastery
-includes opportunities for reflection, revision, and reassessment
-separate nonacademic factors from academic grade
Revised academic definitions TK-12:
A/4 = Exceeds standards
B/3 = Meets standards
C/2 = Approaching standards
D/1 = Beginning progress towards standards
F/Unsatisfactory = Little to no progress towards standards
New citizenship marks with 4-point scale TK-12:
E/4 = Exceeds
M/3= Meets
I/2 = Inconsistent
U/1 = Unsatisfactory

Same leveled academic marks and citizenship marks used from AR 5121 Approved 2018 EXCEPT for use of NG and IP marks
No Grade (NG) used instead of an “F”:
- NG does not factor into the overall GPA
- Graduation waiver available for students who earned an NG in a course as long as minimum state graduation requirements were met
In Progress (IP) used instead of a D or F to give students additional time to earn a C or higher:
-Per teacher discretion
-Work would need to be completed within 12 weeks of next grading term
Does not apply to Summer School 2020 or 2020-21 School Year
