Public Testimony Request

CLOSED SESSION:

The Closed Session meeting scheduled for Tuesday, September 14, 2021, will be conducted via Zoom Platform. The Board of Education will accept public testimony via telephone for the Closed Session meeting. 

The Closed Session Meeting is scheduled at 3:30 pm. Public testimony requests for closed session can be submitted at https://bit.ly/3z4qFAh Public testimony requests must be received by 1:00 pm on the day of the meeting. Board Services will initiate the call when it is time to provide comment. Public testimony for Closed Session is heard on agenda items only.

REGULAR MEETING:

The Regular Meeting of the Board of Education scheduled for Tuesday, September 14, 2021, will be conducted via Zoom Platform.  The Board of Education will accept public testimony via Zoom Webinar. 

The Regular Meeting of the Board of Education is scheduled for 5:00 p.m.

To  provide Public Testimony, please register at the following link https://sandiegounified.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_KI0mQjtZTJmAAjPOutpejQPublic testimony speakers will receive an email confirmation with instructions.

Public testimony requests for the regular meeting must be received by 1:00 p.m. on the day of the meeting. 

Complete and submit the registration form only if  providing public testimony; to view the meeting, it will be live streamed on YouTube and broadcasted on iTV Channel 16.  The YouTube link is available a few minutes before the meeting begins at https://sandiegounified.org/about/board_of_education

Regular Meeting Public Testimony Speakers Please Note:  Speakers will be asked to provide testimony at the beginning of the appropriate agenda item, or at the end of the meeting for non-agenda items. When your name is called, you will be allowed to speak, please unmute yourself at that time. If you hear your name called and are unable to unmute yourself, the next speaker will be called. Once all speakers have been called for the item your name will be called again; please unmute yourself. Staff does not have the ability to access a personal device to unmute a speaker.

If you join the meeting via telephone call, please call in from the phone number that you provided on the registration form, otherwise staff will not be able to identify you to allow you to speak when your name is called. To unmute yourself when calling press *6 on your phone. Join the meeting by clicking on the link provided on the confirmation email; the name displayed on the screen should match the name on the registration form.

The Speaker List will be uploaded to Item B.2.  before the start of the meeting.  Please monitor the list, so that you are prepared to speak when your name is called.
