Public Testimony Request

In compliance with the California Department of Public Health and County of San Diego directives prohibiting large public gatherings during the Coronavirus outbreak, the Board of Education will accept public testimony via telephone call for the 3:30 p.m. Closed Session meeting and via Zoom Webinar for the 5:00 p.m. Regular Open Session Meeting. 

The Open Session meeting of the Board of Education is scheduled for June 22, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. To submit Public Testimony for the open session meeting, please go to Public testimony speakers will receive an email confirmation with directions and information. Public testimony requests for the regular meeting must be received by 1:00 p.m. on the day of the meeting. Public Testimony Speakers who submit their requests after 1:00 pm will be added to the July 13, 2021 Speaker List; Speakers will need to register in order to receive a confirmation email.  Complete and submit the registration form only if you wish to provide public testimony; if you only wish to view the meeting it will livestream on YouTube and iTV Channel 16.  The YouTube link is available a few minutes before the meeting begins at  

Public Testimony Speakers Please Note:  Speakers will be asked to provide testimony at the beginning of the appropriate agenda item or at the end of the meeting for non-agenda items. When your name is called, you will be allowed to speak. Please unmute yourself at that time. If you hear your name called and are unable to unmute yourself, the next speaker will be called. Once all speakers have been called for the item, your name will be called again; please unmute yourself.  If you joined the meeting via telephone call, please call in from the phone number that you provided on the registration form, otherwise staff will not be able to identify you to allow you to speak when your name is called. To unmute yourself when calling press *6 on your phone.  Zoom does not provide the ability for staff to access your personal device to unmute a speaker.  If you wish to remain anonymous please complete the registration form as Anonymous or use an Alias.  Join the meeting by clicking on the link provided on the confirmation email; the name displayed on the screen should match the name on the registration form.

The Closed Session meeting is scheduled for June 8, 2021at 3:30 pm. Public testimony requests for closed session can be submitted at Public testimony requests must be received by 1:00 pm on the day of the meeting; public testimony speakers will receive a phone call when it is time to provide public comment, therefore a phone number is required.
