San Diego Unified began transitioning to a new website platform summer 2020, bringing a much-needed boost in responsiveness and reliability.

Here are a few key things to know:

Applications formerly on the Staff Portal such as PeopleSoft, PowerSchool, and Professional Learning (formerly ERO) will now have links under “Log-In” on the ITD site at: sandiegounified.org/itd.

For assistance with administrative access to your site's page, please have each designated staff member follow the steps below:

  • Visit your site and log in with your district ID. This will prompt the system to recognize you as a user on that site.

  • Submit form HERE. Note: in order to gain access, ALL requestors MUST first log in.

  • If you are already an administrator on your site, you can add other administrators by following the job aid link on the left side of this page.

The district has partnered with Intrado to provide 24/7/365 experts to assist with addressing issues such as yours. Intrado’s SchoolMessenger Presence Support is familiar with the district’s new platform.

Not only will SchoolMessenger Presence Website Support work with you one-on-one, but they will catalog your inquiry so that Intrado, in collaboration with the district web team, can identify and address any system-wide improvements necessary.  These improvements will allow the new platform to perform better, and, in turn, benefit all colleagues across the district and support families during Back-to-School.

We understand that, the district has a great history of troubleshooting as a team, and that it may feel unfamiliar to work with outside resources.  We assure you this is not the case.  Each of us on the SDUSD Web Customer Service Team works with SchoolMessenger  Presence Website Support.  We can attest to their expertise with the new platform, and willingness to engage any issue – on any level – we have.

Website Administration Training Video

All Site Administrators, or anyone responsible for maintaining the back end of the system, should review the following video to learn more about site permission, text editor icons, users, groups, etc.
