Save your family time and money with free summer meals for your kids this summer!
The San Diego Unified School District is once again partnering with the City of San Diego and the California State Library to offer nutritious and delicious food during the summer months.
Free summer meals will be offered to children and teens, ages 18 and under. Meal locations include select San Diego Unified schools, libraries, parks & recreation centers, and other community sites.
The Summer Feeding Program kicks off June 10 and continues through August 2, open Monday through Friday. Times and locations vary. Note: All San Diego Unified Schools will be closed June 19, July 4 & 5.
The district has also partnered with military sites, the City of San Diego's parks and recreation centers, public libraries, YMCA's, and community centers to offer free meals at their locations. Service times vary for each site.

Menus, Nutrition and Allergen Information
SUN Bucks (Summer EBT)
Starting this summer, you can buy more food for your child with California SUN Bucks, also called Summer-EBT. SUN Bucks works just like CalFresh, but for the summer.
Children who qualify for free or reduced-price school meals through a school meal application or an Alternative Income Form, or get CalFresh, CalWORKs, or Medi-Cal, are automatically enrolled.
If your student qualifies for free or reduced-price meals, you don't need to do anything to sign up. SUN Bucks provides $40 per month for food for June, July and August 2024 ($120 total).
